But great experts (and Chris Brogan is very good on this) continually point people to other things

I think so Martin – seems to be where my strengths are. I don't do sales well, I don't network well. What I do well is create momentum and models to pass onto others to sell.

Everybody loves to be loved I guess!

Too many feel how many follow them and how many they follow; how many friends they have on facebook and how many links they have on LinkedIn is what it is all about.

The general emotion and thought process is … If you have lots of followers you're popular and also brilliant and therefore a thought leader and must be a jedi knight or 'guru' > not true! It's an old adage but quality over quantity everytime.

I could write loads more on this but I need to go and get some more followers and friends
