Yeah - when I think open source I immediately think difficult to use software!Whilst there is an open source element, I think we can't use it as a strap line

More space, less clutter.More context, less content.More thinking before action.More focus before writing.More opportunities for others to engage.More relevance, less rant.More meaningful dialogue and less blah, blah, blah.More innovation, less cloning.More encouragement, less self-promotion.Just a few late-night thoughts to add to the topic.Keep up the outstanding work, mate.Robin :)

Sorry, that was a bit rushed.I think the open-source analogy might be better than you think. Open-source advocates like Richard Stallman stress that the "free" in open-source software really refers to freedom, not to price or cost.Open-source software (actually, technically "Free" software) is free to share, modify, distribute, and exploit. Nothing stops you from charging a price for those things - you are free to do that too.Likeminds is partially "open-source" in that delegates and speakers are free to engage in whatever relationships or conversations they like. The ideas can be spread however people want (you even help them).Obviously, there are costs, and these have to be covered. That doesn't stop it being open-source. But I agree that for most people (even a lot of people I know in IT who should know better) open source=free (as in free beer, not free speech). So there's a marketing problem. We're more creative commons really perhaps.I am really looking forward to LikeMinds now. ;-)
