Born Free

Dedicated in Loving Memory to Ken Leamen
1927 – 2001
74 Years of living Born Free

Born Free,
As free as the dog howled,
As free as his garden grew:
Born free to cut the grass.

He lived free,
His philosophy was simple thoughts,
So simple he had only one pair of shorts;
And antiques stuffed in his garage.

He stayed free,
Never needed his eyes checked,
For his had his magnifying glass,
And finally at last
Those women’s specs.

Born Free,
And his life was worth living,
But only worth living,
Because he was Born Free.
