HELPING A PUBLISHER TRANSITION ITS BUSINESS MODEL TO DIGITAL COMMUNITY.
An established publisher in the USA and UK, the UK office required a workshop to help them flesh out what digital community looked like for their niche publications and audiences.
What We Did
Delivered a half-day workshop on an early version of The Engaging Method that practically looked at their existing communities, and how to guide the growth of those communities in a digital fashion.
It helped them grasp social media at an early stage (2010), and successfully use the principles to transition into monetising online community. The company has now rebranded from F+W Media to F+W Community, and made community it’s primary focus, with publishing playing a part within that.
