The Mission

A HIGH-IMPACT VARIETY SHOW THAT GALVANISED THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY WITHIN EXETER.

What We Did

We used showcase strategy to slowly build our following on the backs of the acts that we invited, but with a twist: we decided that alongside music, the main marks of culture were food and dress, so we included a fashion show each year, and invited people to serve their national dishes in the intermission.

We also made sure the event was theatrical and was full of wow moments. This meant crafting the first and second acts and the flow of energy, from the big finish, big middle and big end, and the reflective moments in-between. We oversaw creation of all media, lighting, sound and the filming of the event, with videos being posted onto YouTube.

Scott was the media and stage director who oversaw the production, where as Anya and Faye were event managers.

As a community movement, over 35 nationalities were represented on average at each event, with the local press and the Lord Mayor of Exeter regularly in attendance.
